Introduction

Craig and Shannon here! This is our blog to keep our friends and family updated while we are down under.

Our brief itinerary is: 5 days in Cairnes, 3 days in Brisbane, and 4 days in Sydney. Right now we have all of our flights and hotels booked and reservations for New Year's Eve in Sydney Harbor. We are a week away from leaving and already we are finding a kink in the plan: the day we planned on taking the train from Cairnes to Brisbane the train station is closed... So we will either have to find an alternate form of transportation or stay in Cairnes an extra day.

Also we just found out that we need at apply for a Visa, so that is what we will be doing after posting tonight.
